Privacy Policy

  1. Introduction

Trulot Technologies Private Limited trading as “Trulot” (“Trulot”, “Company” “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) has created this privacy policy (“Policy”) to inform you (“ Customer”, “You” or “Your”) of when and how Your Personal Information is collected, used, communicated, disclosed and protected when You use Our Service. One of Our main priorities is the privacy of Our visitors and we understand that visitors have a right to keep their Personal Information (as defined below) confidential.

This Privacy Policy explains how We protect the Personal Information provided by You, to the best of our ability and how We may use the Personal Information in connection with the Services offered through Our Platform.     1. Trulot is a Company incorporated in India that provides software as a service enabling its customers and their coordinators to engage and schedule drivers, thereby increasing truck utilization upto 25% more. Trulot reserves the right to expand, modify, or enhance its service offerings in the future, in order to meet the evolving needs of the logistics and transportation industry, as well as to explore new business opportunities and innovations.

  3. Consent

    1. By sharing any Personal Information or registering for, accessing, using, and/or downloading any content on Our Platform, you consent to the collection, storage, processing, disclosure and use of Your Personal Information as outlined in this Privacy Policy and You confirm that such use of Your Personal Information in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy shall not cause any wrongful loss to You.

    2. You acknowledge that You are providing Your Personal Information out of Your free will. You hereby acknowledge and agree that the collection and receipt of Your Personal Information by Us is necessary to provide the Services to You.

    3. In the event You do not provide Your Personal Information as may be required for registration or thereafter, or fail to provide such permissions, we shall not have any obligations to provide the Services agreed to be provided under the Terms and Conditions and We may restrict or prohibit Your use of the Platform.

  4. Information we collect

    We collect, use and disclose two types of information: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information.

    1. The Personal Information (“Personal Information”) that You are asked to provide, and the reasons why You are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point We ask You to provide Your Personal Information. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about You such as Your name, email address, phone number, company ownership information, usernames, passwords, and payment information, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information You may choose to provide Us. When You create an Account on Our Platform, we may ask for Your contact information, including but not limited to, names, company name, address, company ownership information, email address, telephone number, usernames, passwords, and payment information.

In addition to the Personal Information, We may additionally collect, compile and track Non-Personal Information (“Non-Personal Information”) about Your visit to Our Platform and such Non-Personal Information shall only include data or information which is NOT specifically identifiable to You, including the domain name and the name of the web page from which You use Our Services, how much time You spend on each of Our web pages, the Internet Protocol (IP) address associated with Your computer, operating system and platform, transaction history, your browser type and language, pages viewed, information searched for or requested for, access time and other relevant information and statistics. We may also compile “Non-Personal Information” into Aggregate Data (“Aggregate Data”).

    3. We use session-replay services to analyze how You use Our Platform. Session-replay services record a video replay of Your interactions with Our Platform, including clicks, ouse movements, scrolls, and typing. We use session-replay data to help Us identify problems with Our website and improve how it operates.

You hereby consent that We may use, store, compile, analyze, and disclose such Non-Personal Information and Aggregate Data to diagnose problems, understand Our customer needs, improve Our products or offerings, provide Services, and to conduct product marketing, research and development activities. This Policy in no way restricts or limits Our collection and use of Non-Personal Information and Aggregate Data, and We may use, disclose, share such Non-Personal Information and Aggregate Data that We collect or compile with third parties and Our affiliates.

  5. Whose Personal Information Do We Process?

    1. We collect and process Your Personal Information when You are a visitor to Our Platform (“Visitor”) or when You are a Customer, Coordinator or End User of Our Platform (“Customer”).

    2. We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If You think that Your child provided this kind of Information on our Platform, we strongly encourage You to contact Us immediately and We will do Our best efforts to promptly remove such Information from Our records.

  6. Purposes for Which We Collect and Use Your Personal Information:

    10. to contact and communicate with You via phone, SMS, email or third-party communication services for technical issues, payment reminders, or the Platform-usage related announcements and other security announcements;

    11. To monitor, protect, and maintain the security and integrity of Our Service and Our business, such as protecting against and preventing fraud, unauthorized transactions, claims and other liabilities

  7. Log Files

    1. Trulot follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log Visitors when they visit the Platform. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the Platform, and gathering demographic information.

  8. Collection and Disclosure of Personal Information

    1. We follow the accepted industry standards and in compliance with the applicable laws, to protect Your Personal Information submitted to Us, both during transmission and after we receive it. However, please note, neither the method of transmission over the internet, nor the method of electronic storage, is 100% (Hundred percent) secure. Therefore, We do not provide any guarantee nor assume any responsibility beyond as stipulated under applicable laws with respect to the security of Your Personal Information.

    2. We will collect, use and disclose Your Personal Information solely for fulfilling the Purpose and for other actions ancillary to the Purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as may be required by law for any other purpose.

    3. The Personal Information should be relevant to the Purpose for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those Purpose, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date. We may disclose Your Personal Information to third party service providers who work on behalf of or with Us to provide You with such Services, to help Us communicate with You or to maintain Services.

    4. We may enter into agreement with third parties (in or outside of India) to store Your Personal Information. These third parties may have their own security standards to safeguard Your Personal Information and we will on reasonable basis require such third parties to adopt reasonable security standards to safeguard your Personal Information.

    5. In the event the Company goes through any kind of business transition, including without limitation a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, Personal Information collected on the Platform may be among the assets transferred and You give Your express consent for access to Your Personal Information by such other entity or company.

    6. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Privacy Policy or elsewhere, We shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or misuse of your Personal Information, if such loss, damage or misuse is attributable to a Force Majeure Event. A “Force Majeure Event” shall mean any event that is beyond our reasonable control and shall include, without limitation, sabotage, fire, flood, explosion, acts of God, civil commotion, strikes or industrial action of any kind, riots, insurrection, war, acts of government, computer hacking, unauthorized access to computer data and storage device, computer crashes, breach of security and encryption, etc.

You acknowledge that We may be obligated by law to disclose or transfer your Personal Information to courts and governmental agencies in certain instances such as for verification of identity, or for prevention, detection, investigation, prosecution, and punishment for offences, or in compliance with laws such as intimation of diagnosis of an epidemic disease. You hereby consent to disclosure or transfer of Your Personal Information in such instances, and We shall have no obligation to inform You of such disclosure.

We will retain Your Personal Information for as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the Purpose(s) for which it was collected, provide Our Services, resolve disputes, establish legal defences, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce Our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.

    9. Notwithstanding anything elsewhere set out in the Privacy Policy, it is clarified that any use or disclosure of Personal Information submitted on the Platform shall not be in any manner contrary to applicable laws, as may be amended from time to time.

  9. Cookies and Web Beacons

    1. We use cookies to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that We transfer to Your computer's hard drive for record-keeping purposes. If You submit the Personal Information or any other information to any of those sites, Your information is governed by their privacy policies and Trulot’s Privacy Policy does not apply to such advertisers, websites or applications. Thus, We are advising You to consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options. We are not responsible for any breach of security or for any actions of any third parties that receive Your Personal Information and We shall not be responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those linked websites and applications.

    1. You have the right to request copies of Your Personal Information. We may also charge you a small fee for this service. Please note that We may not be required to respond to Your requests “to know” or access specific pieces of Personal Information more than twice in any twelve(12) month period.

    1. You have the right to request that We correct any information You believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that We complete the information You believe is incomplete.

You should keep Your password confidential and do not disclose it to any third party claiming to be related to Trulot. Please note that We will never ask You to disclose your password in an unsolicited phone call or email. You are responsible for all activities which are conducted using Your account or password.

    3. We disclaims any and all liabilities towards any such claims that have arisen due to Your own negligence or willful misconduct and We take no responsibility for the same. Further, we are not responsible for the authenticity of the Personal Information provided by you. Therefore, You are responsible for all activities which are conducted using Your account or password.

  19. Modify Your Personal Information

    1. If you are a registered Customer of Our Service, you may review, update, correct or delete your Personal Information by logging into the Service and editing Your profile.

  20. Deletion of Personal Data

    1. Upon termination of the Services (for any reason) and if requested by Customer in writing to Our customer support team provided by the Company, We shall as soon as reasonably practicable delete the Personal Information, Provided that We may: (a) retain one copy of the Personal Information as necessary to comply with any legal, regulatory, judicial, audit, or internal compliance requirements; and/or (b) defer the deletion of the Personal Information to the extent and for the duration that any Personal Information or copies thereof cannot reasonably and practically be expunged from Our systems; the provisions of this Policy shall continue to apply to such Personal Information.

  21. Changes to Privacy Policy

You can access the latest version of this Privacy Policy at any given time on the Platform and it shall be Your responsibility to stay updated on any changes to this Privacy Policy. Once posted, those changes are effective immediately, unless stated otherwise. Your visit on the Platform is deemed to be Your acceptance for the Terms and Conditions and practices described in Privacy Policy and in case you disapprove the Terms and Conditions then You should immediately cease to use the Platform.
